Never Be Lost Again with GPS Shoes by Dominic Wilcox

gps shoes

Imagine walking down a lonely street in a new city with complete confidence. You know exactly where you are going, even if you don’t really know. The GPS Shoes designed by Dominic Wilcox keep you on track. One shoe has a circle of LED lights that indicate the direction you need to go. The second shoe has a straight line of LED lights to illustrate the distance you still need to travel. The shoes have a built-in GPS system that keeps you updated on your current position and the proper direction with no other devices required. The design was commissioned by the Global Footprint Project.

You program the destination plans using your computer and a custom mapping program. You turn on the GPS system by clicking your heels. That’s right, if Dorothy would have had Dominic’s shoes she would not have need the ruby red slippers and the Wizard of Oz.
