2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Aerowagon Concept
Ssshhh, Don’t tell you wife, but her desire to have a wagon is about to match your passion to have a car that tears the roads apart. The team at Callaway Cars is hard at work building a man’s vision of the perfect wagon. They started off with the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and then went crazy. They ripped apart the original carbon fiber body and replaced it with a new hatchback version.
It sounds terrifying to hear someone talking about destroying one of the amazing Corvettes, but the result is unbelievable. The Corvette Stingray Aerowagon looks even tougher than the original car. You get the added storage and passenger space created by switching to a hatchback design, but lose none of the performance. The concept car screams around the track at over 200 MPH with the road gripping ability of the Corvette.
At the moment this car is just a concept from the Callaway Cars designers, but they are rapidly moving it towards production. The next time your wife mentions she wants you to quit looking at sports cars and start thinking about a wagon or minivan, just get a silly grin on your face. Callaway expects to have the cars available later this year for only $15,000 higher than the base Corvette. Your trips to the grocery store and mall are about to become very exciting.
