Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Ettore Bugatti Edition
When Bugatti decides to create a car as a tribute to their founder Ettore Bugatti, they do it in big ways. It started with one of the longest names in automobile history, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Ettore Bugatti. Yes, that is the official name of this intense car, but it takes more than a name to make it a fitting tribute. The car is based on the 16.4 Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse powered by the W16 engine that rockets the car from 0-60 MPH in just 2.6 seconds and gives it a top speed of 254 MPH.
Bugatti then started adding extras like the hand polished aluminum hood, doors and side panels that were then clear coated to lock in their shine. The biggest tribute to Ettore is found on the rear center box, where you find a platinum dancing elephant resurrected from Ettore’s favorite car, the Type 41 Royale built in 1926.
