Apple iPad Mini
Apple fought the idea of smaller tablets since the release of the original iPad. They finally acquiesced to the massive demands from Apple owners that a smaller tablet was exactly what they wanted. As we have come to expect, when Apple decides to innovate into a market, they do it with stellar thinking. The new iPad Mini coming in November is a 7.9″ tablet featuring Apple’s Retina display with a 2048 x 1536 resolution with 326 pixels per inch, making it the best display on a mini-tablet. Add the A7 64-bit processor to the mix and you have a tiny tablet that outperforms many laptops and every tablet on the market. Apple’s iOS 7 is just one additional piece of the puzzle that takes their entry into mini tablets a study in how to turn a market on its ear when you are a late arrival to the party.
The iPad Mini was worth the wait.
