Probably the Most Terrifying Thing Imaginable, Australian Field Covered with Spider Webs
Photographer Daniel Munoz captured a very unique event in the fields of Wagga Wagga, Australia. The grassy fields filled with millions of spiders that produced spider webs blanketing entire fields. The webs billowed in the wind looking like sheets hung out to dry. Balloons of spider webs grew on plants and filled with scurrying spiders. Fences were coated in spider webs. The entire countryside turned a translucent white with webs draped over everything. The spiders spun their cloak over the countryside in their attempt to elude rising water, but in their efforts created a scene of beauty to many and of absolute horror to those with arachnophobia.
Daniel Munoz’s photographs capture the beauty of the event, but the teaming spiders are sure to create a feeling of fear in many.
