IWC 2014 Special Edition Aquatimer Watches
IWC Schaffhausen knows how to kick off a new year in style. IWC released their newest editions of the Aquatimer series, the Expedition Charles Darwin and the Galapagos Island. The Expedition Charles Darwin showcases a new evolution from IWC with their first-ever bronze watch case. The black rubber coated Galapagos Island shows that evolution often includes growth. The watch is an impressive 49 millimeters, making it the second largest watch ever produced by IWC. Both watches will be built in limited runs of 50 watches.
Both watches continue IWC’s commitment to the sciences, by showcasing Charles Darwin and the unique environment of the Galapagos Island. The pair of watches showcase both Darwin’s lust of knowledge and exploration, plus showcasing the locale that inspired his theory of evolution. An amazing pair of watches to start 2014 with a look back in time and a look forward with the evolution of watches.
