Is there anything better than a salty snack to go with a beer or a glass of wine? We think so, and here’s our new low carb (keto) recipe for those of you who prefer to eat low carb snacks. This is a simple recipe for keto salami and cheese chips. This is a quick recipe and the result is a great snack.

Keto, cheese, and tomatoes. Yup, those three ingredients are all you need to make a quick, but delicious snack that is also perfect for when you don’t feel like snacking or are on the go. With the keto diet, you’re eating very little carbs and you’re able to eat more protein to keep your energy up, but you’re also able to lose weight if you follow the correct guidelines.

If you’ve ever seen the movie “Saving Private Ryan”, you get the gist of how this tastes. It’s pretty close to the real thing. This is a recipe for salami chips using my homemade, all-natural cheese. I do not recommend using canola oil for this purpose. I’ve tried using canola oil to make the chips, and they were not nearly as good as using olive oil. Also, this recipe makes quite a bit. I recommend dividing the recipe into two batches. I found that I didn’t have enough room on my baking sheet for the chips to spread out.. Craving a crunchy, low-carb snack? We’ve got one that only takes a few minutes to prepare. Salami & cheese is quite possibly the best combination EVER! Pop this goodness in the oven and before you know it, you’ll be crunching away! #LowCarbMmmmm




  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (225 degrees Celsius) or broil (high heat).

  2. Place the salami slices on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Make sure there’s sufficient space between the slices.

  3. Place a pile of shredded cheese (1–2 teaspoons) on top of each slice. To add more flavor, sprinkle paprika powder or dried herbs over top.

  4. Bake until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown, about 20 minutes. Check them often to ensure they don’t burn.

  5. Allow to cool after removing from the oven. The chips are crisp and ready to eat after they have cooled.


You may use whatever kind of shredded cheese you like, including mild or strong cheddar, aged cheddar, shredded mozzarella, parmesan cheese, or a combination of cheeses. A combination of cheddar and parmesan cheese yields the finest results. Taco mix, onion or garlic powder, or black pepper may be used as extra toppings.
